    Kim Nicole Gehring de los Santos better known as Kim delos Santos or Kim Nicole (born July 27, )[2] is a former actress and television personality in the Philippines who became a Nurse in Texas, United States.

    Kim first appeared in the film Rosenda () whose performance as a young actress earned her an award from the Film Academy of the Philippines (or FAP, literally in Tagalog: Philippine Film Academy) as Best Child Actor. She is best known for her starring roles in the television series Anna Karenina and T.G.I.S..

    Career

    Becoming an Artist

    Kim's career began with an appearance in the film Rosenda where she played the daughter of the characters of Janice de Belen and Gabby Concepcion.[3] She was awarded the FAP award for Best Child Performance in that film.[4]

    She made a name for herself in the world of showbiz when she appeared in the GMA Network television series T.G.I.S. and Anna Karenina while under contract with Viva Films.[5]Anna Karenina lasted for six years from to which is the longest drama series to air on GMA Network.[6] Kim played the role of Nina, one of the three main characters of the series that aired every weekday afternoon.[7] The two other main characters are Anna (played by Antoinette Taus) and Karen (played by Sunshine Dizon).

    Kim also appeared in other films such as Where 'D' Girls 'R' (),[2]Laging Naroon Ka (),[8] at Azucena ().[9] She was also in the movie version of T.G.I.S.T.G.I.S.: The Movie ().

    Becoming Nurse

    In , she left showbiz and went to the United States.[10] She attended a nursing school there and became a dialysis nurse at a clinic in Houston, Texas[11] while working in a restaurant.[12][13] She continued her studies and graduated with a Master of Science in nursing and became a psychiatric mental health nursing practitioner.[14][15]

    Early life

    Kim's father is Hormaidas delos Santos who died in and Kim also has a brother who is a former child actor, Eddie delos Santos.[16] Her mother's name is Dolores, an American.[17] Kim had a thyroid problem that caused her to gain weight.

    She and her film and television co-star Dino Guevarra became lovers.[18] They were married civilly in San Juan, Greater Manila on January 9, , and the then Mayor of San Juan, JV Ejercito married them [19] Kim and Dino's love story was revealed in an episode of Magpakailanman on GMA Network in [20] They separated in and the marriage was annulled in [21][4] In , she reconciled with a man[21] but their relationship also ended.[22]
